Hi everyone!
Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a very happy holiday season. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Festivus for the Rest of Us, it matters not. The only thing that matters is that you stop and take the time to be with people you love. I know of so many friends who have lost loved ones, or have loved ones who are terminally ill. Yet any of us can be taken at any second.
That is how fragile life is.
I am so honored and grateful for all of you, and for your friendship and support. I wish all of you a bright and blessed New Year. I think 2011 is going to be an explosive year, positively and negatively, and we can all feel that something is shifting under our feet, and in the air. But it will no doubt be an interesting year, and I hope to keep all of you as my friends as we figure out a way to get through it alive and well!!! I think the most important thing for the coming year is honesty, with ourselves and with each other. If we don’t get authentic, we won’t know who we are. If we don’t know who we are, we won’t have the wherewithal to deal with the coming paradigm changes. I named one of my chapters in “2013: End of Days or A New Beginning” “Shift Shapers,” and I think that is a role many of us will be taking in 2011 and into 2012. I, for one, am excited. Scared…but excited! WE are gonna be shaping the shift!!!
Keep checking my website for radio shows, movie info, speaking events, book info…I am always up to something! And please, don’t ever hesitate to email and communicate your ideas and theories with me. That’s how I learn and grow, and find new ideas to write about!

Can’t believe it’s almost Halloween, one of my favorite times of the year, mainly because it is a perfect excuse to eat candy. I mean, come on, I can’t throw all that extra candy AWAY, that would be wasteful!!!
Just an update or two, and a call-out for some input on a new book I am working on.
First, turned in the manuscript for THE TRINITY SECRET: THE POWER OF THREE AND THE CODE OF CREATION to publisher this week. It was a tough book for us to write, but we like the end result, and hope you will to. It’s intriguing, and controversial!!!
Larry and I are now gearing up for our latest book together, which we believe will be about time travel!!! That should be a blast!
But I really wanted to ask for some thoughts on my next solo book, DESTINY VS. CHOICE: THE SPIRITUAL AND SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE BEHIND FATE AND FREE WILL. I would love to hear thoughts about what you think operates in your own life…is your life predestined? Is it all your own choice and free will? A bit of both? Email me at info@mariedjones.com if you have any special insights you wish to share. I may use them in the book, and if I do will of course let you know.

Other than that, doing some pre-production stuff on the film “19 Hz.,” and working on a new one “Ghost Hunted.” Fun to get into some fiction after doing all the hard research of non-fiction! During the summer, I’ll be working on THE TRINITY SECRET, tweaking my optioned screenplays 19 Hz THE MOVIE and TWILIGHT CHILD, and finishing up a new TV treatment for a series called THE WANDERER. Meanwhile, I have two other projects being shopped, HEAVEN BEHIND ME, a feature film, and an original TV series called MYTHOLOGY, USA. So it’s a lot of hurry up and wait as I get projects out there and hope for the best. I have a kid to feed!!!
I did my first half marathon, and will be training for three more, and a full marathon for 2011, which is a fun diversion from writing and researching.
I am always so stunned when people say they like my books, and got something positive out of my work. I still shake my head sometimes and think, huh? But for some reason, God gave me the gift of gab, both verbally and on paper, so it seems to be working out!
Thank you everyone for everything. And if you do email me, I promise to answer. It may take me awhile, but I will answer. I am always looking for personal stories from people who have had experiences, both spiritual and paranormal, so don’t be shy!

Just wanted to update you with the latest news in the bizarre world that is mine! I just finished up “The Déjà vu Enigma” and it hits bookstores everywhere in June. Now I am at work on “The Trinity Secret: The Power of Three and the Code of Creation,” which will be my 8th book, and my 4th with ParaExplorers partner Larry Flaxman! We have our fifth book due early next year! In addition, Larry and I have finished a screenplay for a paranormal horror story called “19 Hz” and it is now in development with Bruce Lucas Films. We put our radio show, FRINGE FREAKS, on hold for the summer due to our overwhelming writing schedules, and publicity begins on the new book next month, but we may revisit that later in the year. Larry and I are also staff writers now for TAPS ParaMagazine, and we do a lot of writing for New Dawn, Phenomena and other mags.
Me personally? I have another screenplay in development with Bruce Lucas Films titled “Twilight Child” and am now working on an accompanying TV series treatment. I am also trying to decide between three other potential film projects to dive into, but being a Libra, I can’t make up my mind to save my life!!! Meanwhile, I have another screenplay titled “Heaven Behind Me” being shopped by producer Wendy Kram, who is also shopping my television series treatment and pilot for “Mythology U.S.A.” I believe in throwing handfuls of spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks, so hopefully this hard work will all stick. Otherwise I will have a wall full of sauce stains.
On another note, I am training for marathons and will do the Rock N’ Roll Half Marathon in June in San Diego. I cannot wait!!! Although I don’t really like getting up at the crack of dawn every Saturday to go to the beach for long runs!!! But I am determined to do a FULL marathon next year, and the Triple Crown half marathon series, too. Since I am a writer, I have never done much athletically, so this is perhaps the most daunting challenge of my life! If any of you run marathons, I’d appreciate training tips, especially on endurance breathing techniques!
So things are cooking, and thank GOD Mercury is no longer retrograde because I hate when life is on hold.
